Plot[]
A man killed by a single gunshot wound is found by his car in a quarry. The victim was in Northumberland to sell his recently deceased grandfather's property but at the last minute pulled out of the sale to a wealthy couple who own a nearby deer shoot. A second vehicle is found burnt out with the remains of a dead stag in the back and poaching is suspected.
Trivia[]
- William Ash (Linus Campion) & Kellie Bright (Vanessa Barnes) also worked together on Great Night Out: Episode #1.6 (2013) as Beggsy & Shona respectively.
Goofs[]
Factual errors[]
- Vera said "shotgun" wound. Other characters agreed and then dialog segued to talk about a rifle, no one in the early scene would confuse the two. Not an error. The word 'shotgun' and 'rifle' are used intermittently throughout the show. Plus, it's completely within Vera's character to mix up the two, as she never remembers Joes kids names.
- There are no red deer indigenous to Northumberland. The roe deer is much smaller.
Incorrectly regarded as goofs[]
- When Vera interviews the kids, it's raining pretty good. Next scene, ground is essentially dry. Not necessarily. The next scene doesn't automatically mean three seconds later.
